Research interest:

 

Design and synthesis of new acyclic nucleoside and nucleotide analogues targeted towards potentially cytostatic and antiviral compounds. This effort is focused on chemistry of purine and pyrimidine, application of new methods for the preparation of modified nucleobases and synthesis of acyclic nucleoside phosphonates (ANP) as the leading structural group of antiviral derivatives.
